Clomiphene citrate

Clomiphene citrate is a medication with estrogenic and anti-estrogenic properties that is used to increase serum testosterone in men. It acts by increasing serum LH and FSH, thus providing a greater stimulus to the Leydig cells of the testis to manufacture testosterone. Some men may also demonstrate improved sperm parameters due to the elevation of FSH. The use of clomiphene citrate in men is off-label. The usual dosage is either 25 mg daily or 50 mg three times per week.
