The Institute for Sexual Medicine, Inc. is a non-profit entity, established in 2006 to promote education and research in the field of sexual function and dysfunction. Our mission is to help provide better patient care and help alleviate suffering sexual health problems through research and education in sexual medicine. This is accomplished by generating focused scientific investigations in sexual medicine research, resulting in evidence-based publications and sharing knowledge. Our goals are to train professionals in basic science research and clinical care in the field of sexual medicine, promote the exchange of scientific information generated from experimental and clinical research, and provide opportunities for the general public to learn more about both prophylaxis and treatment for their sexual health concerns

Your tax deductible dotation will allow clinicians a better opportunity to treat sexual dysfunction by supporting further research and education in the field. Since the government currently does not support basic science research in the field of sexual medicine, we rely entirely on the kindness of public and private grants to support further work in the field.
